Training, Socializing, and Managing

Face it - there is no such thing as a perfect dog. Dogs, like humans, begin with a genetic grab bag from Mother Nature. Then, that basic temperament is shaped and influenced by a dog's environment and experiences throughout its life. Dog owners can't change their dog's genetics, but they do have immense control over a dog's environment and experiences via training and socialization. All responsible dog owners must train and socialize their dog to ensure a well-adjusted, friendly, safe canine companion.

Rather than retype what has already been written on countless websites and in dozens of training books, I would like to provide my favorite training links here.
