Happy Pit Bull.com Disclaimer

This disclaimer is an unfortunate necessity due to the lawsuit-happy, responsibility-shunning, close-minded individuals that ruin it for the rest of us.

This is a personal webpage. The purpose of this website is to inform, educate, and disseminate knowledge. The author also shares personal experiences and expresses personal opinions. Just as with anything else on the Internet, it is entirely up to the reader to decide how much to believe, whether further research is necessary, and what to do with the information offered on this site. Although the author attempts to speak truthfully and offer accurate facts whenever possible, and forgoes making any statement known or suspected to be false, this does not mean the site is error-free. The author is not a behaviorist or a vet.

The vast majority of the things found on this site are not unique or outrageous in any way; the information found here can be found almost anywhere else. The author has gleaned her knowledge from books, Internet sites, magazines, trainers, behaviorists, vets, and just about everywhere else. As is true for all things in life, with the tiny nuggets of golden truth come large pieces of rock and dirt, and it can be a lot of work to scrounge the good stuff out. Hopefully this site has made a good attempt to dig up the gold and mold it into something easy on the eyes and pleasant in the hand.

The links and products shown on the site are here for your convenience and reference. You should not consider the presence of such lnks and products an endorsement from the site author.

Over the last six years, I have poured an immense quantity of money, time, and effort into this site as well as activities related to pit bulls, dogs, rescue, and training. I do this in my spare time, on my own dime, out of my love for animals - especially pit bulls - and my desire to make the world a better place. This site is about sharing knowledge and spreading information in order to improve the safety and quality of life for everyone and every dog. I built this site to educate. In every case where I express a firm opinion, I have also tried to explain the reasons behind my beliefs and the facts which bring me to certain conclusions. I am a creature of careful logic and analysis, and hopefully it shows in my writing.

If you like my site, or if you have questions about pit bulls, or something interesting to share with me, I always enjoy hearing from you.

Thanks for visiting Happy Pit Bull!
